There is a reported case of chickenpox at Kenton Senior High.

There is also a reported case of Fifth’s Disease, which is viral communicable condition that follows a viral infection by 7-10 days. Its symptoms give a “slapped cheek” appearance to the cheeks with activity. It can be accompanied by low grade fever, slight nausea, and a raised rash that starts on the arms and legs and moves to the trunk of the body. The disease is spread through respiratory secretions so hand washing frequently and after coughing and sneezing is a must. Symptoms last 5 to 7 days.
