The WBL is a tough league to participate in, but our boys are striving
this year to make marks on their schedules. Each day seems to bring a
new environment to play in; today the boys fought the wind. It was
pointed out by our opponents that this team is one of greatly improved
sportmanship and maturity. Our singles broke on service games and our
doubles gave everything they had by hitting lines and lobbing. “Today
was a loss in the books but if you watched the matches you would have
seen; Adam’s patience, Jordan’s dictating slices, Scott’s agile
footwork, Skyler’s impressive reach at the baseline, Zach’s
aggressiveness at the net, Devin’s alley shots, and Trent’s consistent
serve. Today is not a loss for the teams’ goals and the each
individual’s hard work.” Kenton hosts Celina tomorrow, and the boys are
ready to step up and get that league win. Come cheer them on!
