Hey Kenton Middle Schools Students and families:
Ever wish you could just pay for a month’s worth of school lunches ahead of time so you didn’t have to worry about forgetting that $.40 or $2.50 each day?
Well….your wish is about to come true. We are installing a state of the art computerized debit system this week. If all goes well, the system will be operational on Thursday, May 3rd.
A detailed informational letter will be sent home within the next few days explaining everything you need to know about how the system works. It is a VERY IMPORTANT piece of information so be on the lookout for it.
Here are a few brief facts about how the system works…
1. You will be able to make advance payments into your very own debit account. You can pay as much in advance as you want to.
2. Every day when you come through the lunchline you will enter your own personal ID number code. The system will automatically deduct that days lunch from your total.
3. Once your account balance runs low, you will receive notice from the cashier.
THAT’S IT!!!
A FEW MORE DETAILS WILL BE IN THE LONGER NOTICE COMING HOME IN A FEW DAYS.
BE SURE YOU RECEIVE IT BECAUSE IT WILL CONTAIN YOUR PERSONAL DIGIT IDENTIFICATION NUMBER
EVERY STUDENT WILL RECEIVE AND MUST USE HIS/HER NUMBER IF GETTING A SCHOOL LUNCH REGARDLESS OF FULL OR REDUCED PRICE OR FREE UNDER THE NATIONAL SCHOOL LUNCH PROGRAM
Sincerely,
Laura Widder
Cafeteria Supervisor
