The students at Eastcrest Elementary participated in a fundraiser to raise money to have extra programs and activities such as special field trips and COSI on Wheels. The students who sold more than 30 items were treated to a Hummer Limousine ride to East of Chicago for lunch on Monday, December 1. Nineteen students earned the privilege including: First Grade: Amaya Cummins, Second Grade: Cody Burchiel, Jade Keckler, and Bradlee Watts, Third Grade: Morgan Fissel, Carly Crissinger, Trentin Adams, Seth McKee, Kayla Hudson, and Tommy Muller, Grade Four: Brandon Drummond, Cory Treen and Dylan Castle, Fifth Grade: Darian Lease, Kassie Ervin, Cain Buroker, Andrew Anderson, Jordyn Dye, and Kristen Smith.
Homecoming week is full of school spirit for KHS students as they look forward to a week of exciting activities. During the week students are showing their spirit by making banners and spirit chains and dressing up for spirit days.

List of Homecoming Activities
Bonfire – The bonfire will be held on Thursday, October 5 at 8:30 p.m. in the north parking lot. Afterwards, we will march to the football stadium for Senior speeches and activities planned by the cheerleaders. The band and Homecoming court will be present.
Pep Rally – Students will participate in a school pep rally on Friday, October 6 at 2:20 p.m.
Parade – The parade will assemble in the ALLTEL parking lot by 6:00 p.m. on Friday, October 6. The parade will proceed down Columbus St. and turn left on Oriental St. passing in front of the Middle School and proceed up the drive by the Middle School.
Football – The Wildcats take on the Wapakoneta Red Skins at home Friday night, October 6. GO CATS!
Homecoming Dance – The dance sponsored by the Junior Class will be Saturday, October 7 from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

With the courts set out in the open behind the new school the wind was again a big factor for many of our players. Our singles one player fought against his opponent’s unrelenting forehand and his own doubts with his back hand; but through both sets the games were tight and Smith and shown his competivitve side when the points came down to deuce in many of the games.
Kenton High School’s Quiz Bowl Team came in third out of nine teams at the WBL match on Saturday, March 4, 2006. Two the team members were selected “First Team All WBL” : David LaVerne and Adam Houser. Kenton was the only team to have 2 members selected for this honor.
