Eight Kenton High School athletes were honored this past week at the Winter Sports Athletic Banquet. These eight athletes were honored with the Kenton Athletic Boosters Award for their respective sports.

The boys basketball team will take on Upper Sandusky tonight at 6:15 at Lima Sr. High School in the sectional finals. After the game, fans will be asked to clear the gym as the games at Lima Sr. will be a split session. Fans wishing to watch the 2nd sectional final game will be required to purchase another ticket.

Cheer clinics for middle and high school cheerleading will be March 21-23, 2017 from 5:30 – 8:00 p.m. at KMS gym. Tryouts will be March 24th starting at 3:30pm at KMS gym. Students can pick up a permission form in the high school or middle school office. Permission slips can also be downloaded here.
The Boys Basketball team will travel to Lima Sr. High School on Friday, March 3 for a sectional final game against Upper Sandusky. The game will begin at 6:15 p.m. Pre sale tickets are on sale in the athletics office. Students are $4 and adults are $6.
Freshman Noah Eikenbary and freshman Mason Rhoades finished 3rd and 4th in their respective weight classes at the Sectional wrestling tournament to advance to the district tournament this upcoming weekend. Eikenbary and Rhoades will compete on Friday, March 3 and Saturday, March 4 at Mansfield Sr. High School.
Riley Fitzgerald (5th), Brian Blankenship (5th), Codi Jones (7th) also competed and placed at the sectional tournament at Clyde.
