Seniors, your cap and gowns and graduation announcements are ready for delivery. Your Jostens Rep will be here WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 28th during the lunch period to distribute your items. Your order must be paid in full to be received. You can pay in advance online at www.jostens.com or call 1-800-JOSTENS to make a payment over the phone. Cash or money order are accepted on delivery day, but we encourage you to pay in advance of delivery.
The team is advised by KHS teacher and practicing attorney Mrs. Christina Cross. Our team brought home three awards: Alex Haushalter and Brice Heckathorn took home “Best Attorney” awards. Jarrett Dyer won best witness. Cross noted that this is Haushalter’s second time winning her award. The team will compete again at a regional contest in Columbus.
The Kenton City School district is hosting a meeting to give our school community the opportunity to discuss random student drug testing. The meeting will be held on Monday, February 5, 2018 in the Kenton High School cafeteria at 6:00 P.M.

Class of 2019 is having a turkey noodle dinner to raise more money for prom! Dinners are pre-order only and tickets can be purchased from Jan 25th to February 6th at the main office. Tickets are 6.50 . Dinners can be picked up Monday, February 12th from 4-6pm.
Preschool and Kindergarten registration/screening process for the Kenton City School District will be held on April 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th at the Kenton Elementary School, 631 Silver Street, Kenton, Ohio.
Parents need to schedule an appointment with Carol Scott, Administrative Assistant, at 419-673-7248, extension 1001. Calls will be accepted Monday, February 12th through Monday, March 26th.
At your scheduled appointment, please bring your child’s:
- birth certificate (not birth record)
- social security card
- immunization record
- custody papers (if applicable)
- physical (dated January 1, 2018 or after)
- photo ID
- proof of residency
To register for Preschool, your child must be three years old on or before August 1, 2018.
To register for Kindergarten, your child must be three years old on or before August 1, 2018.
The Kenton Boys Basketball “Junior Wildcats” will play its last two contests during halftime this weekend; Friday; January 26 (vs Van Wert) and Saturday; January 27, 2018 (vs Ada).
