The Kenton City School district is exploring a random student drug testing policy that could be implemented in the 2018-2019 school year. As we work through the pros and cons of adopting this type of policy, the KCS policy committee is asking for your input.
Please take a few minutes to complete the survey. The data from this survey will be used to inform and drive the next steps in the process, so your participation is greatly appreciated.
The survey will be available until midnight on November 14, 2017.
Thank you for your participation.
The Kenton Athletic Department will be conducting its mandatory OHSAA Winter Parent meeting in the Elementary School Gym on Tuesday, November 7th at 6:30 PM. At least one parent or guardian should plan to attend if you have an athlete planning to participate in a Winter sport and did not already attend the Fall meeting. If you attended the fall meeting, you do not need to come.
The OHSAA requires every member school to conduct pre-season meetings with parents in order to better educate them on state interscholastic procedures and bylaws. This meeting is also important to ensure that parents and participants are also aware of all school policies and coach expectations when heading into the new season.
