Kenton High School Student Council conducted their annual WBL food drive competition November 18th – 22nd. This year with the help of students, staff, and community members, Kenton City Schools was able to donate over 10,000 individual items and $100 in cash donations to local community organizations Helping Hands and The Neighborhood Opportunity Center. The high school alone collected 8600 individual items, with Mr. Stuck’s 2nd period class bringing in the bulk at 1165 items! Another big supporter of this drive was Westview Elementary, which collected 1200 goods this year! We hope to be a strong contender in defending our WBL food drive championship title as our numbers greatly increased this year! KHS student council members would like to thank all of the teachers, students, and community members who helped make this year’s drive a huge success!
