The following vaccinations are often required for entry into college:
- Meningitis vaccine
- Tdap ( tetanus, diptheria, and pertussis)
- Gardasil (vaccine for human papilloma virus (HPV)
The Kenton Hardin Health Department can administer these to you on Thursdays- which are shot clinic days- from 8:30 A. M. until 4:00 P.M. Please bring your health insurance card since the health department can bill your insurance. This includes Medicaid and private insurance carriers. If you are under the age of 18, the parent or legal guardian will have to write a note stating that he/she gives permission to the Kenton Hardin Health Department to give the student the shot(s) with signature and date.
If you have no health insurance the cost of each vaccine is $10.00 with a one time charge of administration fee of $20, payable the day you get the vaccinations.
Proof of these vaccines will be given to the student after they have been administered. Any questions about this process, please call the Kenton Hardin Health Department at 419-673-6230, option 4.
