Kenton High School Family & Consumer Science teacher Mrs. Cheryl Hiller was awarded last week’s Flag of Inspiration.

Mrs. Hiller’s students have been featured in several “Wildcat Inspirations” this year. They were summarized by Superintendent Jennifer Penczarski in a congratulatory email to staff:

During the first two weeks of school, approximately 100 students in Mrs. Hiller’s Family & Consumer Science classes had the opportunity to make four projects to exhibit at the Hardin County Fair. Exhibitors received one free gate pass for the entire fair. Projects included Baked Goods, Snacks, Educational Projects and Handicrafts. For their handicraft this year, students made holiday ornaments using recycled wrapping paper, yarn and beads that were then recently given to the residents at the Kenton Nursing and Rehab facility.

Superintendent Penczarski concluded by thanking Mrs. Hiller for Inspiring All to Inquire, Dream, and Excel.
